An international zero-waste conference needed a visual identity as credible as its speaker list, which is exactly what IZWCC 2018 got.

The Setup
The International Zero Waste Cities Conference 2018, held in Bandung, needed to communicate the seriousness of its environmental mission while staying visually compelling across conference materials, signage, and digital channels: international credibility without visual cliché.
The Ask
Design a full brand identity embodying the conference's core values (circularity, sustainability, international solidarity) and able to scale from a conference badge to large-format environmental signage.
The Move
- Built the visual system on organic forms and a nature-rooted palette (greens, earth tones, clean whites) engineered to read as environmental stewardship without leaning on cliché.
- Designed the logomark and supporting graphic system to work at every scale, from badges and printed programs to banners and digital screens.
- Applied the identity across the full conference collateral suite (programs, speaker materials, signage, and presentations), each calibrated to reinforce international stature.

The Numbers
A complete, scalable brand identity deployed across the full conference, from delegate badges to large-format signage
An identity that held its international credibility and its environmental mission at the same time, without one undercutting the other
The Bigger Picture
Conference branding is a compressed version of every brand problem. One identity has to work at wildly different scales and contexts within a few days, with zero room to fix it mid-event.
“Got an event or conference that needs to look like it belongs on an international stage? Let's build that.”
