Teza Sumendra wanted a lyric video that moved like a mixtape instead of a slideshow, and that's what WKNDCRUISIN' got.

The Setup
Lyric videos are the easiest format in music marketing to phone in: text on screen, maybe a color wash. That approach was never going to match WKNDCRUISIN', a Teza Sumendra track built for a loose, kinetic mood.
The Ask
Partner with Meja Bundar Studio to deliver motion design for a lyric video that felt as free and rhythmic as the song itself.
The Move
- Built a typography-first visual language, choreographing each word and phrase to land with rhythmic precision instead of just appearing on the beat.
- Balanced color, texture, and motion to swing the mood between introspective and euphoric, mirroring the track's emotional arc.
- Worked inside Meja Bundar Studio's collaborative framework, owning the motion layer (transitions, typographic rhythm, visual pacing) while keeping Teza Sumendra's voice front and center.

The Numbers
A complete lyric video motion design delivered in collaboration with Meja Bundar Studio
A typography-forward motion language built to feel handcrafted frame by frame, not templated
The Bigger Picture
Even a small format like a lyric video is a chance to prove you can direct mood, not just move text across a timeline. It's the same underlying skill a much bigger brand campaign needs.
“Got a track, brand spot, or story that needs to move like it means it? Let's talk motion.”
